Help Fight Famine Spokesperson Kristy Robertson says “more help is desperately needed” to prevent hunger in Africa.

“The situation in Africa particularly in Somalia is just devastating right now,” Ms Robertson told Sky News Australia.

“The reports that we’re hearing from the Caritas workers in Somalia are that children 5 years of age are turning up at the clinics.“The Australian government has made a pledge for $15 million and that’s a great start but we really want the Australian government to be a world leader in this area.”
