Heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) have flooded a natural spring in Kalinga and caused landslides in Ifugao.
The flood has affected the main source of clean water for three barangays in Lubo, Tanudan, Kalinga, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Monday.Other sources of clean water were also damaged by the flood.
The local government unit is thus planning to place three barangays in Lubo under a state of calamity.Natuwolan Road, which connects Ifugao to Banawe, was rendered impassable due to the landslide and mud.Motorists were advised to use alternate routes.The Southwest Monsoon continues to affect the country on Monday and is expected to
