The greatness and legacy of OPM (original Pilipino music) legend Danny Javier wasn’t lost to the House of Representatives.

“Tributes poured in for this legendary music icon who never stopped fighting for what he loved, what he believed in, and what he was passionate about,” read House Resolution No.530. Javier was born on Aug. 6, 1947 in Abuyog, Leyte. Some 22 years later, he would form APO Hiking Society with fellow musicians Boboy Garovillo and Jim Paredes.
