Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque and Kingdom of Jesus Christ supporters on Monday called on President Ferdinand Marcos Jr . to resign from public office.At the indignation rally at Liwasang Bonifacio which was aired live on Roque’s Facebook page, protestors could be seen holding up placards that read “Marcos resign” or “BBM resign” while others were holding up Philippine flags.Other signs, meanwhile, called for “justice for KOJC.
On Sunday evening, KOJC members also trooped to the airport road in Davao City to protest the presence of the police, who have been scouring the premises with an arrest warrant for KOJC Leader Apollo Quiboloy.The police entered the compound on the morning of Saturday, August 24, to arrest Quiboloy. He has not yet been found. The Police Regional Office 11 said its units will not leave until the pastor is arrested.
