The southwest monsoon, or habagat, will continue to spur rains across several parts of the country Wednesday, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 4 p.m. forecast.
Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will prevail in Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur due to habagat while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned the public against the possible flash floods or landslides that may occur in the affected areas brought about by the expected rainfall. Forecast winds in northern Luzon will be moderate to strong accompanied by moderate to rough waters. The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:27 a.m. on Thursday.
