The southwest monsoon or
“habagat” will continue to bring rains over most parts of Luzon this weekend, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. PAGASA weather specialist Gener Quitlong said the tropical depression being monitored near Philippine area of responsibility is expected to weaken into a low-pressure area and will not affect the country.
Based on the data from PAGASA, water elevation in Angat Dam is at 161.22 meters above sea level , slightly lower than the 161.28 masl on Thursday morning.
