Marcos Jr. to thoroughly assess and address the first major environmental disaster confronting his administration.
The group noted that over the last few months, fishing bans were lifted in Oriental Mindoro, leaving Pola, the ground zero of the oil spill, as the last town with an enforced ban. The group added they are one with all fisherfolk and adjacent sectors in demanding the return of livelihood and day-to-day normalcy.
