Azcona said farmers, particularly those from remote areas, would now be given the opportunity to access credit. The waiving of credit investigation and background information was also revised, which changed the standard of investigation from loan amounts to land area. Individual sugarcane farmers and block farm members with a maximum of five hectares would now be waived from CI/BI.
