The government is prepared to implement stricter steps if some people would continue to defy health and safety protocols against the spread of the coronavirus disease.

“As we go along with this journey ridding the pandemic from our country, we will adopt measures that would be commensurate to the gravity of the situation,” he said. “We might calibrate our response to the intransigence that you will show.” Duterte, in his address, admitted receiving reports of protocol violations monitored in “Mindanao, Bacolod and Cagayan de Oro.”
