GoTyme Bank and foodpanda teamed up to support micro, small, and medium enterprises within the online food and grocery delivery platform by offering flexible financing options for working capital.
The loan program complements foodpanda’s existing “Negosyo Like a Panda” initiative, which provides business loans to partner vendors to support their growth.The program allows foodpanda’s partner merchants a tailored approach to repayment schemes, adjusting their payments according to business cycles, paying more during peak seasons and less during lean times.
“Through this exciting collaboration, we look forward to providing entrepreneurs with the crucial financial support they need to achieve their dream businesses by leveraging GoTyme’s expertise in digital banking and MSME lending,” said Gotyme Philippines finance director Lhecks De Castro. GoTyme Bank, a collaboration between Tyme, a global digital banking group, and members of the Gokongwei Group, quickly became the country’s fastest-growing bank with 4.5 million customers, having operated for less than two years.
