And the new GM has also reached out to another mentor in former Stamps brass-man Wally Buono for direction in the off-season puzzle put-together.But it doesn’t guarantee the generation of a Grey Cup-winning squad. The big vets remaining unsigned at this time include receiver Kamar Jorden, linebacker Jameer Thurman, defensive ends Shawn Lemon and Folarin Orimolade. “The weird thing is you can’t really throw contract offers at everyone, because if they all sign them, then we don’t have the money,” Dickenson said. “We also told some of the guys, ‘Hey, we can’t really give you what we think you deserve. It doesn’t fit our structure. Go to free agency and see what’s out there and if you get a great deal, go for it. If it’s something you don’t like or don’t want, then circle back and see if it can fit for our team.
