Leading digital solutions platform Globe welcomes the Philippines’ climb in a global digital competitiveness index as it vowed to introduce more innovations in support of more inclusive digital transformation.

It, however, notably ranked 56th out of 63 countries rated, and trailed Southeast Asian neighbors, placing 13th out of 14 nations, showing the need to further boost its digital competitiveness. “Globe has been at the forefront of the digital shift in the areas of fintech, health tech, edutech, among others. We have introduced many groundbreaking apps that individuals, businesses and organizations now use daily to address their various pain points, becoming indispensable to customers. We will continue to innovate to help drive inclusivity and equitable digital growth across the country,” he added.

Having the Philippines’ most reliable network, Globe also reiterates its support for the administration’s goal to digitalize government processes, ready to provide the necessary ICT infrastructure to see this through.
