Globe extends grace period for bills payment to 60 days COVID19 LuzonLockdown
MANILA - Globe Telecom said Wednesday it would extend payment due dates for postpaid mobile and broadband users for another 30 days to ensure Filipinos remain connected during the Luzon lockdown.
The initial 30-day grace period, which will expire on April 15, is extended to 60 days or at least 2 months of unpaid bills, the Ayala-led telco said in an advisory. "To help ease your worries on bill payments in line with the extension of the ECQ to April 30,2020, we've extended the payment due date on your postpaid mobile and broadband bills by another 30 days to ensure that you continue to be connected with your loved ones," Globe said.
The government extended the enhanced community quarantine period imposed on the island of Luzon until April 30 to beat the COVID-19 pandemic. Subscribers who are willing to pay ahead of time are encouraged to use online and cashless channels, it said.
