Globe, the country’s digital solutions provider, leveraged its strength in technology to keep its 8,000 employees safe, connected, and engaged during the pandemic. With this, Globe took home the first-ever United Nations Sustainable Development Goal Awards under the People Category hosted by the UN Global Compact Network Philippines .
The recognition affirms Globe’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly UN SDG No. 3, which promotes healthy lives and well-being for all, and SDG No. 9 on fostering innovation. Globe immediately saw the need to support and enhance the physical and mental well-being of its workforce, especially during the lockdowns when people were forced to juggle responsibilities at home and at work.
