Global money transfer company, Wise, has recently launched the PHP Account Details for customers in the Philippines, allowing users such as freelancers,
international students, and expats to receive payments in Philippine Pesos with zero fees directly into their Wise Account.
By eliminating the need for a traditional bank account or local address, Wise offers a more convenient and seamless way to manage finances.“PHP Account Details, along with the ability to instantly top up Wise accounts and card transactions through InstaPay, are among the most requested features from our users. We believe these enhancements will help customers seamlessly manage their finances and enjoy a more convenient payment experience,” said Wise Philippines country manager Areson Cuevas.
Since entering the Philippine market in May 2024, Wise has continuously introduced new features to support Filipinos in managing their finances across borders. Recently, the company gained direct access to InstaPay, the country’s instant payments infrastructure, enabling transfers in under 20 seconds. This allows users to quickly fund their Wise Account and card transactions through bank transfers or e-wallets like GCash and Maya.
The addition of PHP Account Details brings Wise’s total number of available account details to 23. These include currencies like GBP, AUD, CAD, EUR, NZD, SGD, USD, and TRY. Each set of account details is unique to the user, allowing them to share it with friends, companies, or clients to receive money globally without unnecessary fees.
