The march was part of a national rally calling on the federal government to "deliver on its promised reforms to industrial relations" and to abolish the Fair Work Ombudsman. In a post to social media the union said members were arguing against "wage theft" and "sham contracting" while calling for intervention following the number of building companies that were collapsing.
