ICYMI: A 4-year-old girl died from drowning while swimming on Thursday in a children’s pool of a resort in Baco, Oriental Mindoro.
CITY OF CALAPAN — A 4-year-old girl died from drowning while swimming on Thursday in a children’s pool of a resort in Baco town, Oriental Mindoro province.The Baco public information office said the girl, whose name was not disclosed, was accompanied by her mother while swimming around noon when the victim failed to surface in the water.
Witnesses said the shocked mother was unable to get immediate help, but other guests and the resort’s security personnel managed to respond.
