Gas prices increased slightly in Newfoundland and Labrador overnight Thursday, Sept. 28. - File photoST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Prices at the pumps increased marginally in Newfoundland and Labrador overnight Thursday, Sept. 28.
Gasoline prices across the province rose 0.1 cents per litre , setting the maximum price for a litre of regular unleaded self-serve gasoline at 1.937 on the Avalon Peninsula. Diesel prices dropped across the board, down 4.4 cpl on the island and 4.2 cpl in Western Labrador and Churchill Falls. Home heating fuel costs are also cheaper this morning, customers using furnace oil can expect to see an decrease of 3.75 cpl.
Stove oil is down 3.75 cpl on the island and dropped by 3.60 cpl in Western Labrador and Churchill Falls.The next scheduled price change in the province is Thursday, Oct. 5.
