Garmin has also introduced a new analogue-smartwatch hybrid in Malaysia. The Vivomove Trend adds plenty of features from the brand's usual offerings without the associated bulky case and aggressive looks.
Garmin Vivomove Trend specs and features
The Trend’s case is plastic, rather than aluminium on the Vivomove Style, and it loses out on that watch’s Gorilla Glass 3 crystal. On the flip side, it has a stainless steel case for a more upmarket feel than the Vivomove Sport. It also comes with a silicone strap, but with a lug width of 20mm, it can be swapped out for any conventional watch strap in that width.
Like any smartwatch worth their salt, the Trend supports push notifications for things like calls, messages and calendar reminders, although only Android users will be able to send quick replies to messages. It also tracks the usual health metrics, such as your heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep stages, menstrual cycle, breathing and hydration. It will even show your stress levels and how much “body battery” you have left.
