Ang mga namumuno sa atin walang pakialam at pansariling interes lamang ang kanilang ginagawa at kanya kanya silang bangayan ,' Brosas said during her nomination on Tuesday.
Brosas, who will be running under the Makabayan bloc, said she would be supported mainly by women from civil organizations, marginalized sectors, youth, and even the LGBT community.Former Gabriela representative Emerenciana 'Emmy' de Jesus believes that there should be more 'alternative voices' in the Senate, which only Brosas and the entire Makabayan Senate slate could provide.
