Furigay’s executive assistant buried in Lamitan City

The body of Rose Furigay’s executive assistant Victor Capistrano was laid to rest on Tuesday, August 2, at the Colonia cemetery in Lamitan city more than a week after he was killed at a Manila university last week.

ZAMBOANGA CITY —

A funeral mass attended by family members, relatives, and supporters was held at the Saint Peter Parish Church in Lamitan as part of interment rites. Capistrano was a long- time executive assistant of Lamitan mayor Rose Furigay, who was shot dead inside Ateneo de Manila University along with the university’s security guard identified as Jeneven Bandiola.
