The recent decrease in the recorded COVID-19 “fresh cases” in the country showed an accurate picture of the situation in the Philippines, the DOH said Saturday. | CMarquezINQ

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire issued the statement after 46 fresh cases were reported by the DOH on Friday.

“Kung itong fresh cases— ang pagbabasihan natin dahil ito ang mas magpapabigay sa’tin ng mas accurate na picture of our situation— Makikita niyo na from 109 fresh cases nung May 28 bumaba sa 46 fresh cases yesterday May 29. Itong pagbaba pong ito ay makikita natin bilang magandang indikasyon ng estado sa ating bansa,” Vergeire said in an online press briefing.
