Tricycle drivers and operators no longer have to spend a single peso to secure permit to operate, regulatory and franchise fee here.
DAGUPAN CITY – That’s just one of the campaign promises that Mayor Belen Fernandez lived up to.Among the other programs in her administration are the allotment of P200 million for the scholarship program for college students and continuation of the waste-to-energy project to address solid waste issues. On free franchise, she said “Malaya na makakalaya ang mga tricycles sa lungsod dahil pinalaya na natin sila sa mga bayarin at singilin sa loob ng tatlong taon.
Fernandez said about 5000 students in colleges and universities stand to benefit from the scholarship program that her administration will implement.“Sinimulan ko ang scholarship program noong 2013 sa halagang six million pesos para sa halos 500 scholars po lamang,” said Mayor Belen.
And the waste-to-energy project will continue that was introduced during her previous term as mayor of the city.“Walang puwang ang mga kurap at mga magnanakaw at mga nagmamalabis sa kaban ng bayan.
