Free online training for MSME safety officers rolls out next week –DOLE

A free online training series for future safety officers in micro, small and medium enterprises that have less than 50 employees will start next week, the Department of Labor and Employment said Saturday, Sept. 12.

The first batch of the free webinars for the public sector will be conducted on September 14 to 18. It will continue until December with 13 more batches of free online training being lined up. Qualified participants are required to use laptop or desktop computers equipped with a webcam and microphone and a stable Internet connection.

Binag said the training sessions will also use the OSHC-developed modules for the mandatory training to allow the migration of training services to an online platform and enable the provision of these services while ensuring the protection of training participants and resource persons.
