MANILA - Historical and educational films will be shown for free weekly at the park beside the Manila City Hall starting Aug. 16, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said Thursday.
“Nung bata kami there was a film showing sa Luneta. Tatay ko dinadala ako doon. From Tondo, nilalakad ako sa Luneta ground then there is a big screen,” he said. Screenings will be held at the restored Kartilya ng Katipunan Park, hence the name of the regular film-showing event, adjacent to the Bonifacio Shrine.
