Daniel Andrews has revealed what state government support is being offered to VCE students in flood affected areas, as well as the help being provided to families with kinder aged children.

Mr Andrews revealed on Tuesday three and four-year-olds in areas impacted by the flooding will be able to attend kinder free of charge throughout term four.The Premier made the announcement as he noted almost 60 early childhood facilities across Victoria had been closed.

"Today we are stepping into both provide help for vital early childhood education services, so kinder, helping them to recover and helping families with kinder aged children," Mr Andrews said. Mr Andrews added VCE students will be offered a derived examination score where necessary. More than 80 schools have been closed across Victoria.
