Round played 328 games in the VFL between 1969 and 1985, playing for Footscray, South Melbourne and Sydney, before becoming captain-coach of Williamstown, leading them to the 1986 and 1990 VFA premierships.The ruckman from Warragul, east of Melbourne, was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
