He was involved in municipal politics locally for 19 years
Craig’s obituary said he was a high school teacher and vice-principal for 24 years with the Sudbury Board of Education.
“Doug was a confident, intelligent, and caring person with a passion for people and community service,” said his obituary. Craig’s death has also drawn comments from a few current and former members of Greater Sudbury city council.
