Ian McMillan, has been named vice-chair of the board of Science North for a three-year term
Former Sault Ste. Marie Director of Tourism, Ian McMillan, has been named vice-chair of the board of Science North for a three-year term.Both appointments are effective immediately.
During his career, McMillan sat on a number of boards, including the Travel Industry Council of Ontario, Tourism Industry Association of Ontario, Attractions Ontario, Great Lakes Cruising Coalition and Cruise Ontario. “Science North is extremely fortunate to benefit from both Jim and Ian's leadership as our organization's new chair and vice-chair, respectively. In addition to being enthusiastic champions of the work we do, Jim and Ian both bring a wealth of experience and insight to their new roles,” said Science North CEO Ashley Larose. “We are also indebted to our outgoing chair, who steered our organization during a period of significant growth and change.
