Fleury, a Sorel, Que., product was named the game's first star and received a loud ovation from the crowd following the game, a similar one to when he recorded his 500th career win against the Canadiens on Dec. 9, 2021, as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks.At 38 years old, the game could potentially be Fleury’s final contest in his home province as an NHL player but he didn’t speak about it following the contest.
In return, the Jets received forwards Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari and a 2024 second-round pick.
