I am not sick.” Thorne invited Robinson and her husband to stay at her St. John’s summer home and invited former premier and then-opposition leader John Horgan and his wife, Ellie, to the concert. “He just said ‘you do you,’ ” Robinson recalls. “He said ‘you’ll bring your energy to this job because what else would you do?'”
Robinson considered challenging Premier David Eby for the B.C. NDP leadership race last summer, but ultimately the time commitment was more than she could muster.
