A food delivery rider died after his miscalculated attempt to overtake a 10-wheeler dump truck resulted in an accident along Loakan road here on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

BAGUIO CITY –

The rider was identified as Francis Opiña Mangaoang, 30, and resident of Everlasting Street, Baguio City. The Traffic Management Unit of the Baguio City Police Office said the accident happened at around 11:20 in the morning. Based on the investigation, Mangaoang got into the highway’s opposite lane to overtake a dump truck.
