Global Ferronickel Holdings, Inc. (FNI)’s legal team has been recognized for its exceptional work in two major industry awards events.
FNI’s legal team was awarded In-House Team of the Year (Construction and Real Estate) at the Asian Legal Business (ALB)–Philippine Law Awards 2024, hosted by Thomson Reuters at the Makati Shangri-La on November 14, 2024. The team, comprised of Marielle D. Marbella, Paralegal; Atty. Reeno E. Febrero, Legal Officer; Atty. Eveart Grace P. Claro, Executive Legal Officer; Atty. Noel B. Lazaro, Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs; Atty. Mary Louisse S. Inguillo, Legal Officer; Atty.
Leo Ernesto Thomas G. Romero, Legal Officer; and Judd Yonder L. Reyes, Paralegal, also received the In-House Legal Team of the Year 2024 Best Practice Management Award (Corporate Social Responsibility) from The In-House Community (IHC) at an online awards ceremony held in Hong Kong on December 11, 2024. FNI beat out notable nominees such as Alexforbes, Bank of Ayudhya, M_Service (MoMo eWallet), and The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. FNI was also shortlisted in the In-House Legal Team of the Year 2024 in Energy and Natural Resources category, competing with distinguished international companies, including Petronas Malaysia, Sembcorp Industries, and State Grid Overseas Investment. The IHC represents over 16,000 in-house legal professionals across the Asia and Middle East regions, and the 2024 awards featured a record 206 submissions.
