JOHOR BARU: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a continuous rain warning until March 5, with three districts in Johor to experience danger-level rain.

State Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said that all Johoreans are urged to keep themselves updated with the latest information from enforcement agencies and continue to keep themselves and their families safe.

"MetMalaysia has also forecasted bad weather in Muar, Tangkak, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Baru. Onn Hafiz added that MetMalaysia also stated that the monsoon surges were expected to continue until March 6, with forecasts of continuous rain in east Peninsular Malaysia and strong winds and high sea levels in the South China Sea.
