PAMPANGA is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, hosts a variety of industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, and information technology, and offers significant opportunities for growth and job creation.
Yet, despite this potential, Pampanga faces environmental challenges like frequent flooding.Towns such as Masantol, Macabebe and San Fernando often endure this crisis due to heavy rainfall from the 'habagat' or southwest monsoon, which lasts from June to November. Recently, 22 barangay in Masantol and 11 villages in Macabebe were submerged due to Typhoon Carina's continuous rain last August.Some of the residential projects in Pampanga that have remained flood-free, even during the typhoons, belong to developer Pueblo de Oro . Its subdivisions, such as Horizon Residences, La Aldea Fernandina, and Park Place Pampanga, are situated on higher ground, providing residents with peace of mind and an improved quality of life.
