Defining the News

A privately owned corporation specializing in floating solar panels has rolled out its corporate social responsibility program aimed at promoting literacy among the children.

Forty-five elementary pupils were given learning materials, books, and tutorial support with the help of volunteer teachers and parents. “Aside from delivering renewable energy, we believe in empowering the communities where we operate. The good thing with this program is it is truly a holistic and collaborative approach in improving literacy. Everyone helps create a reading culture in and outside the classroom.” said Jason Gavina, head of Blueleaf’s community relations and marketing department.
