The Port Alberni Fire Department responded to a fire in Roger Creek Park off the Scott Kenny Trail Thursday night, which is the second time it has responded to the area this week. The department initially posted about the fire on its Facebook page shortly before 10:30 p.m. about the fire, then updated it was out around 11:30 p.m.Crews monitored the zone for hot spots after it was doused before returning to the station.
