The Cebu City Fire Office pegged the estimated cost of damage at P59.5 million in the fire that was reported at 8:40 a.m. and was declared ‘fire out’ at 12:16 p.m. According to Senior Fire Officer Wendell Villanueva, information officer of the Cebu City Fire Office, the fire initially started on the third floor of a five-story building. However, they have yet to verify this pending further investigation.
