Filipinos affected by the tornadoes that hit several states in the United States were told to reach out to the Philippine Embassy or the nearest consulate in their area for assistance.
In a statement dated Dec. 12, the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. advises Filipino communities, who were affected by the tornado, “to monitor local advisories and to contact the Embassy for emergencies requiring the Embassy’s assistance.”
