Meanwhile, eight empowered women launched their sisterhood, 'The Fairy Sisters', emphasizing unity, support, and female empowerment.

The Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines ( FCCP ) recently hosted its 45th Anniversary Ball at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel, themed 'Un Soir A Paris' (An Evening in Paris) to evoke the city's ethereal charm, mystique, and elegance.

The event was led by FCCP President Baby de Jesus, director-in-charge Noel Gonzales, and Chair Terry Tambunting, with support from the Officers and Board of Directors, including Baby Ortiz, Ningning de Ocampo, Gilda Salonga, Nonie Basilio, Letty Calma, Martin Lopez, Ester Rosca, Nene Pe Lim, Maru Go, David and Mache Ackerman, and Mimi Valerio. The generous Board of Advisers and donors, such as Rose Marie Lazaro, Tessie Rodrigo, Cristina Galang-Caedo, Sol Dizon, Letty Hahn, Sol Tan-Gatue, Mellie Ablaza, and Cong. Linabelle Villarrica, also contributed to the success of the evening. FCCP is dedicated to promoting Philippine arts and culture within the country. Its primary mission is to support scholars pursuing careers in the performing and visual arts at various universities and colleges, both domestically and internationally. The 45th Anniversary Ball featured captivating performances by FCCP Scholars, Philippine Stagers, Kris Gonzales, and Kuh Ledesma, showcasing the richness and talent nurtured by the organization.In a separate celebration of sisterhood and empowerment, eight remarkable women came together to launch their collective known as the Fairy Sisters at Canton Road, Shangri-La, Bonifacio Global City. Each adorned in white, with fairy wings and headdresses, they embodied a spirit of unity and support. While one sister was absent due to travel commitments, her presence was felt, reinforcing the strong bond that connected them despite the distance. The Fairy Sisters stand as a testament to female strength, ambition, and grace, actively championing a world where every woman's voice is heard, and every dream can be realized. They celebrate the magic of sisterhood and the transformative power of collective support
