A 43-year-old man and his 24-year-old son have been charged with multiple drug offences following the search."It appears to be a new trend that's occurring both the production of methylamphetamine and MDMA locally," Detective Inspector Phelps said."The majority of MDMA that we see is imported from overseas as a finished product."He said police in New South Wales searched homes belonging to the men at Bombo and Surry Hills.

He said they allegedly found $81,500 in cash, a money counter, 255 grams of MDMA and chemicals and items used to produce drugs.
