A farmer was arrested after he was caught allegedly tending to marijuana plants in a mountainous barangay in Toledo City, Cebu. ManilaBulletin
Demetrio Laspoña Baculi, 57, was also caught possessing an unlicensed .45 caliber pistol during the arrest past 2 p.m. on Friday, April 28, police said.
Operatives of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and Intelligence Unit of the Cebu Provincial Police Office had gone to Sitio Abayan, Barangay General Climaco, to serve an arrest warrant against Jonathan Abadinas.After arresting Baculi, police also seized half a kilo of dried marijuana worth P10,000.Baculi was detained pending the filing of charges against him, police said.
