A global hunger monitoring group has detected famine in five areas of Sudan, including the country's largest displacement camp, due to a war between the military and a paramilitary group. The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) report says the war has triggered mass displacement, a collapsing economy, and disruptions to food production and access.
