After almost 30 years of the annual New Year's event, organisers of iconic Australian music festival Falls have announced that it will not run this year. 9News DETAILS:
Partygoers keen on attending one of the festivals' locations, normally held simultaneously around the country, will have to make new plans this December after organisers announced they were taking the "season off to rest".
The announcement comes after the festival reverted to a one-day event in Melbourne last year after being unable to secure its flagship location at Lorne in Victoria's south.
