MANILA, Philippines – Falcons AP Bren secured a ticket to the knockout stages of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup as it finished the group stages as the top seed. The squad swept its opponents in Group D to advance to the tournament’s next stage happening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Esports World Cup.
The final match-up of the group stages was to determine who finishes Group D at No. 1. A civil war of sorts emerged as Falcons AP Bren faced Myanmar's Falcon Esports, but the all-Filipino team out-drafted the Myanmar squad to remain undefeated in the group stages.
