MANILA, Philippines — Authorities have confiscated fake luxury items worth more than P200 million during a raid inside a shopping center in San Juan City.

The National Bureau of Investigation reported Monday that counterfeit goods carrying the logo of luxury brands such as Chanel, Hermes, and Rolex were seized from six stores in the mall on April 5. The raid was implemented by virtue of search warrants issued by Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 46 against the shops.

This is not the first time that government authorities were able to intercept fake luxury items from shops inside the San Juan City mall.
