NEWLY-MINTED Best Player of the Conference (BPC) June Mar Fajardo is back in Manila from a brief break in his native Cebu and is ready for another tour of duty in the national team as well as for San Miguel Beer which got the boot in the Governors’ Cup.

“Vacation is over, back to work,” Fajardo told BusinessMirror on Wednesday during a break in the Beermen’s practice at the San Miguel Corp. sports facility along C-5 Road Pasig City. “And I’m focused and willing to take the challenge.” The Commissioner’s Cup will open on November 27 and Fajardo expects a grind at the shade in the conference where there’s no height limit for imports.
