Fair weather will prevail today, Mother's Day, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa) said.
Weather specialist Obet Badrina said that in some areas, there will be occasional rain showers in the late afternoon or evening.He said the country will be hot and humid in the coming days.
'Based on Pagasa's monitoring track, it has not monitored any weather disturbance at least this week starting Sunday, so we will likely have hot and humid temperatures,' Badrina said.The ITCZ, an imaginary line where the air from the northern and southern hemisphere meet, is affecting Mindanao, he added.The ITCZ will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Metro Manila.
