The country’s Independence Day celebration will never be complete without any sightings of foreign ambassadors wearing elegant Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana dresses.
This was why, to mark this year’s 125th Independence Day commemoration, European Union Ambassador to Manila Luc Veron made sure that his outfit would reflect the vibrant Philippine cultural heritage and tradition. In the same post, the ambassador created his own poll for Filipinos to help him choose which Barong Tagalog he should wear on Philippine Independence Day on Monday, June 12.
