Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said"there is a process ongoing" over the suspension of Abra's top officials, telling them to"man up."Bersamin issued a statement on Sunday, Dec. 15, responding to queries if Abra Governor Dominic Valera and Vice Governor Joy Bernos have made an appeal to President Marcos to fix the province's politics amid Abra's top executives' suspension.
The Executive Secretary stressed that the"vice governor is suffering suspension as the result of a final decision" while the governor"has been subjected to a preventive suspension allowed under the law to stop him from influencing witnesses during his investigation."
